ESC Medical Systems has completed the acquisition of Laser Industries Limited. Each Laser Industries shareholder will receive a fixed rate of .75 of ESC's common stock for each outstanding share of Laser, totaling approximately 7 million shares of ESC Medical Systems stock for Laser shareholders. ESC feels that Laser's assets will enhance ESC's global position in the cosmetic and medical markets.
