Trex Medical Corporation receives $8 million Russian order

Trex Medical Corporation has received an order from Moscow's Bakulev Cardiovascular Surgery Institute for interventional cardiac and vascular imaging systems. The $8 million order includes single-plane and biplane cardiac catherization systems and a special system designed for peripheral and neurological vascular interventions. The imaging systems will be used for minimally invasive catheter-based procedures and the biplane systems will be used for pediatric cardiology and complex adult procedures where simultaneous views from different angles can reduce procedure time.
