Flight simulation system receives FAA Level D approval

The Federal Aviation Administration has granted Level D approval onthe United Airlines B777 Full Flight Simulator. The simulator hasan Evans and Sutherland Computer Corporation 150 degree by 40degree visual system, including E&S's ESIG-3350GT image generatorwith ESCP-2000 raster/calligraphic projectors, and began service atUnited's Denver Flight Training Center following the FAA approval.
