CardioGenesis signs exclusive distributor

CardioGenesis (Sunnyvale, CA), a developer of laser-based systems for use in transmyocardial-revascularization (TMR) procedures, has signed Boston Scientific (Natick, MA) to a distribution deal. Under the agreement, Boston Scientific has exclusive rights to sell and distribute all CardioGenesis TMR products and technology in all international markets, excluding the USA. Other terms of the agreement were not disclosed; however, Boston Scientific said it plans to form a dedicated TMR sales force in Europe.
