Varsar GEOMAT to subcontract environmental services

Versar Inc. in Springfield, Va., has been awarded a five-year subcontract for environmental services for the U.S. Navy's Indian Head Division, Naval Surface Weapons Support Center in Indian Head, Md. The prime contractor is EG&G; Washington Analytical Service Center in Indian Head, Md. The contract has a potential value of $46 million.

GEOMAT Technologies Inc., a subsidiary of Versar Inc. in Springfield, Va., has won a subcontract with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Radiation and Indoor Air. The $20 million contract provides support to the EPA's Indoor Environment Air Division's program to promote the improvement of indoor air quality.
