Sperian laser windows available for Europe

Smithfield, RI – March 13, 2009: Sperian Eye & Face Protection announced today that its YAG windows have passed rigorous testing according to EN 207 (Filters and eye-protectors against laser radiation) and to DIN EN 12254 (Screens for laser working places) for the wavelength range 805 – 1064nm, thus proving their resistance to laser radiation.

Sperian YAG windows are available in two standard sizes, which can then be easily cut to the required format, and can be used as screens in laser workplaces, or as a window in a laser housing. These lime green YAG windows offer an extremely high visible luminous transmission of 64%, which makes them comparable to glass windows at a fraction of the price. Because Sperian YAG windows come in two standard sizes of 60cm x 90cm (2 x 3 feet) or 90cm x 120cm (3 x 4 feet), they provide customers with added value and the flexibility to order only that size needed for their specific application.
