Laser Current Driver System

SFC Energy develops, manufactures and markets standard and semi-standard power supplies and power supply systems for demanding requirements in laser, semiconductor manufacturing equipment and analytical applications. We operate our R&D and manufacturing location in Almelo (the Netherlands) and Cluj-Napoca (Romania) and a sales representative in the US.

At PW23 we will launch 2 new products: a laser current driver system (LACS series) and a power supply (LAPS-R series).

The LACS series is a liquid cooled 19” multiple channel fast current driver system (<10us rise and fall times), specially designed for fiber laser and diode bar laser systems applications.

The LACS family current source systems are a complete solution to drive multiple smaller laser modules e.g. fiber laser pump diodes or one big laser diode bar. The liquid cooled systems can be connected directly to universal mains. They directly drive almost any fiber laser or laser diode bar.

The LACS family is a modular system and can be configured from 1 to 8 channels. The cost effective solutions are designed for laser systems in the range of 500 W to 5000 W optical power and with a total power ranging from 3,9kW to 19kW in just 3U height. It contains a CSA certified PLe double safety system under the EU Machinery Directive.
