Optical tables, traditional stainless-steel breadboards, and vibration isolation support systems from OPTA provide the perfect balance between high static rigidity and vibration damping for any optical system.

Optical plates from OPTA are manufactured entirely from cold-rolled steel to achieve the highest possible rigidity and structural stability from the material. Uniformity of structure ensures that the optical plate expands evenly over even large temperature differences, and matte finishes to the plates ensure any incident light scatters quickly.  Due to the optimised density of the steel honeycomb core, the HD and HDT series’ optical panels display optimal damping properties, especially with resonance amplitudes in the higher frequency range.

OPTA optical tables & steel boards are available in standard and non-standard sizes as well as in custom shapes. Custom table designs can be quickly and smartly addressed with minimum fuss due to an in-house development process. Available customisations include custom sizes and shapes, custom threading options, additional cut-outs for auxiliary equipment and through hole apertures for light transmission, and fully integrated attachments on the plate.

Support systems start from rigid leg systems, or for improved vibration isolation passive rubber supports are available. Finally, the active air support options provide the best possible vibration isolation.
