Knight Optical’s Littrow Prisms for Laser Applications | |
13 May 2021 Available as custom-made components to meet the precise needs of your end application, Knight Optical's premium-quality Littrow Prisms are a sought-after optic for engineers specifying for laser-based applications. They are commonly used close to the end of an optical cavity within a laser system to finely adjust the output frequency by changing the angle of incidence (AOI) of the prism. At Knight Optical, we understand the importance of ultra-precision and the need for tailor-made solutions; particularly within high-precision laser-based applications. It's for this reason that we offer our Littrow Prisms as custom-made components for seamless integration with any device, regardless of size or requirements. This made-to-measure service allows you to specify the dimensions, substrates, tolerances and optical coatings – if required – that are best suited to your application. Typical specs: Material: SF11 (or equivalent), F2 (or equivalent), UV Grade Fused Silica Dimensional tolerances: +/- 0.2mm Angles: +/- 1 arcminutes Surface figure: < 0.5 waves Surface quality: < 40-20 Scratch/Dig Coating: Antireflective (AR) < 0.2% @ 550nm Ali Ravg >94%@450-650nm @ AOI=0°-45° To discover how we can enhance your supply chain experience and to learn more about our custom-made Littrow Prisms, contact a member of our technical sales team today.
