08 Mar 2021 Menhir Photonics designed an improved version of the MENHIR-1550 with advanced features and noise performances for the demanding field of optical frequency-combs. With its GHz comb spacing, each comb line have more power per comb tooth compared to MHz spacing solutions, while achieving better noise stability. The MENHIR-1550 at 1 GHz has already demonstrated its capabitilies with the recent publication by the group of Prof. Scott Diddams at NIST, using this laser to create a full-stabilized frequency-comb (Reference: https://doi.org/10.1364/OSAC.396597). Menhir Photonics femtosecond laser sources are based on robust and well-engineered designs, offering excellent reliability with the lowest phase noise and timing jitter on the market from soliton modelocking.
