Knight Optical offers a wide range of Hot Mirrors for a variety of heat-sensitive systems. Due to their ability to transmit visible wavelengths and reflect heat, generating infrared wavelengths, Hot Mirrors are commonly specified for systems that require heat shielding while still requiring visibility. Thanks to their dielectric coating – which can be controlled for different AOIs (most commonly 0°) – our Hot Mirrors have a sharp cut-off between Infrared (IR) and visible wavelengths.
