 Designed to transmit infrared (IR) wavelengths and to reflect bands below that, Cold Mirrors are dielectrically coated onto a glass substrate to reflect visible light. Because of this dielectric coating (which can be controlled for different AOIs – the most common of which is 45°), Cold Mirrors have a sharp cut on between IR and visible spectrums and are most commonly used in projection systems to help alleviate heat damage/

 Available from stock or – as with all our components – as custom-made optics for seamless integration with your project, our 45° Cold Mirrors meet a diverse range of requirements sought by a diverse range of systems. By opting for tailor-made optical components, you can specify the shape, size, optical coating and tolerances best suited to your project.
