How to Use a Hexapod Robot: in Photonics Alignment, Lens Alignment, Micro-Assembly

Hexapod motion systems are the most versatile multi-axis positioning systems, also called Stewart Platforms, for industrial, research, and medical applications. A traditional hexapod parallel kinematic positioning system is based on 6 actuators arranged between a top and bottom platform. Hexapods are available in many sizes, with bases from 100mm to 1m, and able to handle loads from 2kg to 2000k.
