27 Sep 2019 Novel solutions for industrial photonics and optics alignment are based on hexapods and gantries. PI Gantry systems are available in different size, load, and precision classifications including mechanical bearings, hybrid systems and all air bearing designs with resolution down to the single nanometer range. Combinations with hexapods for 6 DOF motion are also available, all driven by EtherCat-based ACS motion controllers.
