04 Aug 2016 OCAM²S is a state of the art scientific camera based on a EMCCD detector.
Able to detect more than 2000 images per second, OCAM²S is ultra sensitive with a read out noise under one electron.
OCAM²S has an embedded shutter able to deliver an arbitrary number of integration pulses that
can be shorter than 1μs with a precision better than 50ns.
Operating on a wavelengh from 0.4 to 0.9µm, with 95% QE, OCAM²S is used in Astronomy, as well as in Industry or Biological Imaging, and especially for pulsed laser applications. |
