C-RED One: the world’s fastest SWIR camera | |
26 Nov 2015 First Light Imaging’s new camera C-RED One has achieved a world record in Infrared (SWIR) imagery: 3507 images per second, with a sub-electron read out noise. C-RED One is using a revolutionary 320×256 pixels MCT e-APD (Avalanche Photodiodes) sensor with noise-free signal multiplication. Its high-reliability cooling system makes C-RED One totally autonomous and free of any complex cryogenics instrumentation. With its short wave infrared wavelength coverage from 0.8 to 2.5 microns and unprecedented performances, C-RED One can make the invisible visible.
