Few-cycle ultra-short pulse laser by Laser Quantum

A growing number of researchers are demanding shorter pulse durations due to benefits in peak power, time resolution and spectral bandwidth. The Venteon PULSE ultrabroad by Laser Quantum offers such pulses and the shortest commercially available.

Laser Quantum’s Venteon PULSE ultrabroad laser system is a femtosecond oscillator with an integrated state of the art pump laser. It provides unique spectral properties on a purpose designed monolithic breadboard and delivers >240mW of sub-6fs short laser pulses directly out of the box (>3nJ @ 80MHz repetition rate), with typical pulse durations below 5fs.

The laser system is ideally suited to femtosecond research and provides the shortest pulse durations commercially available for your applications. Additionally the laser is available ready to have a CEP or CEO stabilisation upgrade installed. Due to the octave-spanning output spectrum, a direct CEP stabilization can be realized without additional spectral broadening.

The Venteon PULSE ultrabroad also features sufficient extractable power @ 1030nm that it can be used to seed high power pump stages of an Optical Parametric Chirped Pulsed Amplifier such as the Venteon PULSE OPCPA. This emerging area of amplification is ideally suited to short pulses as it benefits from a much larger gain bandwidth and no gain narrowing compared to conventional regenerative or multi-pass amplifiers.
