03 Apr 2013 Laser Lines are delighted to announce that Gentec-EO have launched a new sensitive High Power Detector that can handle up to 2500 Watts of average power. The UP55C-2.5KW-HD measures both very low and very high powers, thanks to a noise level of just 200 mW and a maximum measurable power of 2500 W. It is also the fastest high power detector available from Gentec, presenting a rise time of only 3.5 seconds when using one Gentec’s power monitors, such as the Maestro. The UP55C-2.5KW-HD is very compact for its power capacity (only 48 mm deep) and is the most affordable high power detector on the market
