14 Mar 2013 Somersworth, NH – EigenLight Corporation is excited to announce the launch of its new Series 100 High Performance (SRHP100) inline optical tap monitor. The SRHP100 Optical Tap is an extension of EigenLight’s advanced Series 100 Optical Tap product line with a higher directivity and reduced polarization stability. This gives the design engineer of optical networking subsystems advanced capabilities that can be used to monitor and control the optical power within an optical network.
EigenLight’s High Performance Series 100 inline optical tap monitor has the lowest loss, highest directivity and lowest PDL on the market. This allows the SRHP100 to be used in the most demanding networks (40G, 100G, 400G and 1T coherent systems) without compromising the quality of the transmission signal. By capitalizing on EigenLight’s patented optical tap technology, the high directivity (>35 dB) of the SRHP100 allows it to be used in monitoring individual counter propagating signals of an FTTX network accurately without compromising the other signals. The low loss and low PDL makes the SRHP100 ideal for EDFAs and Raman Amplifiers where several optical taps are cascaded together and minimizing loss and PDG is important.
