02 Jan 2013 The new ImageMaster® Compact is a compact and motorized MTF Test Station for use in prototype and small serial production. It is a cost-effective, horizontal table-top instrument capable of analyzing the image quality via the MTF and to accomplish measurements of other optical parameters e.g. EFL, Distortion, Astigmatism.
The ImageMaster® Compact is the result of the close co-operation between TRIOPTICS Germany and Wells Research, a TRIOPTICS owned company in the USA since May 2012. The experience and know-how of both companies was combined to create the instrument in this exceptional short time. Further benefit of the acquisition is the new simple-to-use and accurate software.
Due to its modular design, a wide range of lenses and optical assemblies can be tested. The user is able to choose between different options to cover his needs most perfectly. Furthermore, the modular design makes a change between different setups very simple, optimal for R&D applications.
- On- and off-axis measurements (up to ± 130°)
- Easy to change between infinity and finite conjugate system: The collimator can simply be exchanged with a back-lit source, mounted on a precise motorized stage
- Manual filter and reticle changer, motorized optional, allowing a variety of wavelengths and images to be used for analysis
- Selection of collimators with different effective focal lengths to guarantee the best solution for the customer’s application
