High Durability Anti-Reflection (PROTEUS HDAR) coating from Artemis | |
17 Jan 2012 Currently applicable for the mid-wave infrared, the newly qualified PROTEUS High Durability Anti-Reflection (PROTEUS HDAR) coating from Artemis overcomes the long standing issue of high durability with the consequential loss of transmission. Qualified and tested to 90-days salt fog to MIL-STD-810F, para 509.4, when combined with the Artemis internal high efficiency anti-reflection coating average transmission values exceed 99% with average reflection measurements less than 0.3%.Meeting and exceeding additional MIL-STD environmental tests including severe abrasion, adhesion, temperature and humidity, this MWIR coating is perfectly placed for front lens and window applications demanding high transmission / high durability performance.
