29 Mar 2011 Innovative Photonic Solutions (IPS) is pleased to announce the introduction of its new 640 nm wavelength stabilized single frequency laser diode. The new source offers more than 35 mW of open beam output power and is available in a wide variety of packaging configurations ranging from OEM style TO-56 and 14-pin PM fiber coupled butterfly packages to fully “turn-key” UL/CE and IEC certified laboratory bench systems.
Designed primarily as a diode based replacement option for traditional Helium/Neon (HeNe) lasers, the TEM00 Gaussian output beam profile and circularized/collimated output beam makes this source ideal for applications requiring good beam focus-ability where cost and source size are of concern. Key market areas include metrology, holography, FTIR spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and metrology applications.
