01 Oct 2010 This new interface allows remote control of FEMTO amplifiers and photoreceivers from a standard Windows PC with USB port via connection to the opto-isolated 25 pin D-Sub connector. Amplifier settings such as gain, filters, sensitivity and phase can be remotely controlled using software that is delivered with the interface hardware on CD.
Any FEMTO module with the 25 pin D-Sub connection is supported, except the logarithmic amplifier HLVA-100. The software package contains a DLL driver for WINDOWS XP (or higher), executable application programs for test and control of the FEMTO amplifiers, as well as LabVIEW virtual instruments and C/C++ programming examples for developing own control programs. |
