05 Nov 2009 Hundreds of IMRA America’s Femtolite fiber lasers have been sold into a range of ultrafast applications since the product line was first released in 1997. The FX-100 and FX-60 are the latest and most powerful versions in the Femtolite product line, emitting 100 mW and 60 mW, respectively, at a repetition rate of 75 MHz. The FX-100 and FX-60 both produce smooth pulse profiles with pulse duration less than 120 fs. The optical spectra are also very smooth, symmetrically centered about 810 nm. The air-cooled, compact (24 x 19 x 8 cm) optical heads, with turn-key operation, make them ideal for both scientific applications studies and product integration, such as nonlinear spectroscopy, terahertz generation and multiphoton microscopy. |
