26 Jan 2009 Z Lasers has introduced a Developer's Kit, which has been designed for system integrators and developers who are faced with frequently changing challenges in machine vision and imaging applications. The alignment laser developer's kit, which is available through Scitec Instruments, includes a 10 mW red laser with adjustable output power (via potentiometer) and seven easily exchanged optical heads. These seven heads enable the user to select any of the following types of output: dot projection; homogeneous line with 20° fan angle (micro array lens); homogeneous line with 40° fan angle (micro array lens); Gaussian distributed line with 90° fan angle; Cross with 30° fan angle (DOE); 17 x 17 dot matrix (DOE) and 11 lines (DOE).
The kit also includes a power supply, a screwdriver for intensity adjustment and a focusing tool. The kit is packaged in a compact carrying case, which also provides protection for the kit. |
