The mount also incorporates the first-ever quick release cell for easy loading and unloading of optics. Our DNO series of optical mounts allow you to precisely adjust tip/tilt wihout the use of springs for tension.
Our posi-drive adjustment mechanism (patent pending) automatically locks in place as soon as you stop turning the adjuster.
Removing the optic for cleaning is as simple as 'click-and-turn'. Our DNO series mounts employ a bayonet-style sub-mount, similar to the mounts used on SLR camera/lens systems. So you can align your mirror and then, with just one hand, remove the mirror for cleaning. The best part is that when you replace the quick-release cell back in the mount, it returns precisely to the same aligned position you had before removal. All without the need for a single tool, and with just one hand.
