By utilizing a hexagonal shape and total internal reflection, the rods maximize the coupling efficiency and uniformity and turn a non-uniform light source into uniform illumination. Fused Silica Homogenizing Rods are available in apertures ranging from 2mm to 10mm and in sixth lengths from 25mm to 125mm. Custom versions are available for OEM quantities.
