With the help of an automatic testing function measurements can be performed quickly and easily without much previous knowledge. The device automatically selects the optimal settings. The test fibers are scanned and the measurement results such as, for example, total fiber length, attenuation events and their positions inside the fiber, or the attenuation between two points are clearly arranged in the large, easy-to-read color display.
