03 Jul 2008 SILIOS has developed a very efficient homogenizer for Ti:Sapphire crystal pumping: SHGH 100. This homogenizer is a diffractive optical random phase plates made of SiO2, with a high damage threshold (more than 10 J/cm²) and a high efficiency coefficient (more than 80%).
Main advantages are:
- better homogeneity
- better sharpness of Top Hat edges
- free form shaping
- no Talbot effect
- very easy to use
- relaxed alignement tolerance
- higher power of the femtosecond intense laser with no risk of crystal breaking
- cost reduction by decrease of SHG lasers number, thanks to increase of their output energy. |
