01 Nov 2007 This femtosecond regenerative amplifier offers industrial reliability and robustness combined with ease of customisation to OEM integrator’s needs for medical, industrial and scientific applications such as tissue engineering and nano-processing. High Q Laser expand the already successful femtoREGEN series with the introduction of the femtoREGENTM UC all-in-one femtosecond regenerative amplifier. Distributed by Photonic Solutions in the UK, this compact regenerative amplifier is based on high-end Yb-doped laser materials and offers increased power output of up to 2W from a 350fs pulse at 1035nm. Either dual beam (green) or triple beam exit (UV) is available ensuring simultaneous access to all wavelengths and systems with repetition rates up to 500kHz are available on request.
The femtoREGEN UC integrates all the pump laser diode modules, the seed oscillator and the amplifier in a single ultra-compact housing measuring 34cm x 78cm. The integrated seed laser is the compact femtoTRAIN which features semiconductor saturable absorber modelocking (SESAM) to ensure passive and self-starting mode locking for high temporal stability. The resonator of the regenerative amplifier and the Pockel cell of this laser are contained within one monolithic module - the proven High Q Laser IC (Industrial Compatible) module. The Pockels cell and its electric driver can both be independently replaced for easy service in the field.
Photonic Solutions PLC is the exclusive U.K. distributor of the High Q Laser range of all-diode-pumped solid-state ultra-fast lasers. Please contact us, or visit our website at http://www.psplc.com for more information on either the femtoREGEN UC or the full range of ultra-fast lasers available from High Q Laser.
