Marketed and supported throughout the UK and Ireland by Pacer International, the PAX-10™ is PerkinElmer's latest addition to their PAX family of precision-aligned pulsed Xenon light sources. The new light source offers a full 10-Watts of power in a compact design that integrates the flash lamp, trigger circuit and power supply in an EMI suppressant enclosure.
The PAX-10 features a pre-aligned arc position precisely located (+/- 0.05mm) relative to a datum feature on the mounting surface of the case. The pre-aligned arc position enables 'plug and play' field replacement, eliminating the need for alignment and reducing OEMs' costs and instrument down time. The PAX-10™ uses PerkinElmer's proven reliable Xenon flashlamp technology to deliver exceptionally stable, high intensity microsecond pulses of light covering a continuous spectrum from the ultraviolet to the infrared (120 to > 2000 nm). The new light source provides a long life rating of over a billion flashes and is available in two arc orientations with user selectable analog or digital intensity control. The PAX-10 is CE marked and fully RoHS compliant.
