23 Apr 2007 The variety of pulsed laser diodes (PLDs) manufactured by LASER COMPONENTS Canada is continuously increasing in order to meet numerous market demands. Our proven Nanostack laser technology at 905nm includes several epitaxially integrated emitters. Through stacking peak output power levels between 70W and 210W can be achieved. These PLDs are optimised for applications such as Ceilometers or LIDAR, in which long distances (>> 1km) are measured. For shorter distances, this technology is also available with a 75µm emitter. On account of the smaller emitting area, the output power (12W) can be more easily coupled into a fibre and combined with micro-optics.
