02 Nov 2006 LASER COMPONENTS Canada manufactures high power pulsed laser diodes of different IR wavelengths and power levels. During the different steps of production our conversion screen model LDT-008 has proven to be an invaluable help. The card is not only widely used to check if lasers are operating during burn-in but also for aligning diodes and optics during special test procedures. It is even possible to check the near field emission of the laser for any inconsistencies or holes. To do this, the laser beam is collimated using a microscope objective lens and projected onto the conversion screen. This enables the engineer to quickly see any deviations from the norm. The LDT-008 works well with both 905 nm and 1550 nm PLD. |
