Designed to provide reliable outdoor IR radiometric measurements the SATIR from Cedip Infrared Systems collects and stores in real time perfectly synchronised sequences of images from the three main infra-red wavebands.

Advanced Multispectral Imaging System .. The SATIR system from Cedip Infrared Systems (www.cedip-infrared.com) is designed for users who want to perform infrared analysis of targets on air, sea or land. Designed to provide reliable outdoor IR radiometric measurements the SATIR allows operators to collect and store in real time perfectly synchronised sequences of images from the three main infra-red wavebands: 1-2.5, 3-5 and 8-12 microns. Benefiting from the most advanced IR focal plane array detector technology and ultrafast processing electronics, the SATIR system provides the high performance demanded by the most difficult of measurements. Mounted in a ruggedised enclosure the SATIR can be easily and safely transported to make reliable outdoor measurements on aircraft, ships or military vehicles. The SATIR comprises three IRFPA cameras, each one being connected to a single computer for real-time storage. A PC server controls each camera PC and provides advanced image processing. All images taken on the SATIR are referenced with time and location through a GPS receiver. Easy-to-use software provides for comprehensive processing and analysis of IR images and sequences of IR images.
