QD Laser, Inc. offers Lantana, an ultra-compact, all-in-one visible single-frequency laser module designed for high-precision biomedical and industrial optical systems. Available in 532 nm, 561 nm, and 594 nm visible wavelengths, Lantana offers a plug-and-play solution that integrates both the laser and driver into an extraordinarily small 53 cc footprint.

Traditional visible laser light sources in this performance class often require bulky external power supplies or separate controller units, complicating integration and increasing overall instrument size. Lantana eliminates these constraints by incorporating a fully integrated driver directly inside its housing. Operated and controlled simply via USB communication, the module requires no additional optional accessories, enabling a straightforward, hassle-free setup out of the box.

Engineered for precision measurement and analytical tools, Lantana delivers excellent output power stability, high spectral purity, and low power consumption. To accommodate diverse system architectures, fiber-pigtailed options supporting a single-mode fiber and polarization-maintaining fiber are available, along with support for both continuous-wave and pulsed operation modes.

To further expand the series, additional wavelengths—including 488 nm, 552 nm, and 588 nm—are currently under active development.
