Medical endoscope is a kind of medical device with a history of about 200 years. It is an indispensable diagnostic and surgical equipment for general surgery, urology, otorhinolaryngology, orthopedics, gynecology and other departments. It is also one of the fastest growing product types in the global medical device industry. According to the application scenario, it can be divided into hard mirror and soft mirror.
However, for a long time, China 's medical endoscope market has been firmly controlled by Japanese and German manufacturers, which once carved up 90 % of the market share of the whole industry.
Japanese manufacturers such as Olympus, Fuji, and Pentax mainly dominate in the field of soft mirrors, while German-based Karl Stowes leads in the field of hard mirrors.
With the replacement of CMOS sensors, domestic manufacturers have made major breakthroughs in independent research and development of high-end soft and hard endoscopes. The imaging clarity of Chinese endoscope products has gradually shifted from standard definition to high definition and transition to 4K. The 4k soft lens launched by Aohua and the open endoscopic ultrasonography are both representatives of the results.
