Brinell Vision has increased its UK production capability this year with the opening of a brand new thin-film deposition facility, just 10 minutes from Manchester Airport. The high-tech optical filter production site has been set up to allow expansion of it’s manufacturing for precision laser filters and high durability AR (anti-reflection) coatings. Brinell Vision Products are used in applications such as Laser eye protection, medical instruments, optical sensors and display technology. The company plans to keep it’s development coating Lab in Perthshire, Scotland so this can concentrate on projects for Astronomy, Meteorological and rapid prototype work for product development.
The company has focussed on the use of sophisticated optical design and advanced clean high-energy deposition processes to address the most demanding optical applications Worldwide. This approach allows products to be qualified to operate in harsh environments on the ground, air and space.
