The Business Unit Technical Glass of the Berliner Glas Group designs and produces individual glass touch assemblies for its customers. The systems are based on projective capacitive touch sensor technology.
The glass touch assemblies are realized according to customer requirements – countless sizes, shapes and colors are possible. Berliner Glas Technical Glass offers display front panels, touch sensors, controllers, a ready-to-install solution assembled in the frame with clearly defined interfaces up to the integration into the system of the customer. The optical bonding between front glass and LCD panel also is part of the range of services.
Glas touch assemblies made by Berliner Glas Group are used in many industries and markets – industry automation, navigation systems and marine applications, point of sale up to medical technology. In medical applications glass touch displays have an outstanding advantage. Glass as a material always stands for the highest demands on excellent optical properties and ease of care. It is resistant to different chemicals and thus can also be used in areas and applications where the highest hygienic standards have to be met.
From 16 to 19 November 2015 the Berliner Glas Group will exhibit at Compamed in Dusseldorf, Germany. Berliner Glas Technical Glass will present its solutions and latest developments for medical applications. The booth is located in hall 8a, booth number G19.6 (part of the IVAM pavilion).
