Will display application examples including laser-structured medical devices.
Miyachi Europe, the leading supplier of laser and resistance welding systems, laser marking products and hot bar systems, announces it will be showcasing its laser marking, welding, and cutting capabilities at the Laser World of Photonics, to be held in Munich, Germany, May 13-15, 2013, Hall C2 Booth #642.
MEC will also be showing an application panel at the Lasers and Laser Systems for Production Engineering Photonics Forum, an exclusive industry platform for pioneering technical discussions, expert talks and innovative company presentations, to be held in Hall C2 throughout the conference.
Application experts will be on hand to show how Miyachi Europe’s ML-7350C laser marker, ML-8150C green laser welder, or NOVA system can be used for improving medical device manufacturing, welding copper, and hermetic package sealing.
Application examples on display will include implantable device connections in such products as pacemakers and stents, copper welding using five different laser technologies, and hermetic welding of radio frequency (RF) packages for the aerospace industry.
