Matthias Peters joins German laser company's sales operation.
October 2011, Matthias Peters has joined TOPTICA Photonics as OEM sales manager. Continuous growth and the development of new business opportunities required a further strengthening of TOPTICA’s sales team.
Matthias Peters has 15 years of experience in the field of lasers and optoelectronics. He started his career at Optilas GmbH, first as service technician and later as sales engineer. At Leica Microsystems he was responsible for the sales of microscopes and components for industrial applications, followed by a position as European account manager at Sony Europe Ltd.
Matthias Peters will be responsible for the sales of TOPTICA’s OEM products, including diode lasers, multi-laser engines and ultrafast fiber lasers, with special focus on the European market. “We are very glad to have found a person with broad experience in OEM sales”, says Dr. Thomas Renner, VP Sales & Marketing. “With his strong background in lasers and instrumentation, he will greatly contribute to the further growth of our OEM business success.”
