| Power line protection: Bandweaver's fiber-optic sensor units look set to be deployed on a commercial basis, to help prevent costly and disruptive theft and tampering. The distributed acoustic sensor (DAS) systems provide near-instant alerts when tampering takes place, giving a positional accuracy of ±5m over a range of up to 100 km. |
