| Levelized cost of energy (LCOE) targets under the DOE's SunShot program. PV costs have dropped dramatically since the inception of the program in 2011, although that is mainly due to the fall in the price of silicon-based panels that resulted from huge Chinese investment in manufacturing facilities.
