LISA Pathfinder
Artist's impression of the LISA Pathfinder satellite in orbit. Launched December 3, 2015, it is currently headed towards the "L1" Lagrange point between the Earth and the Sun. If successful, it should form the first "arm" of a future giant space interferometer with 5 million kilometer long arms. Image: ESA.
