CZTSe: The route to sustainable solar?
Though not hugely efficient in itself, the CZTSe cell developed by imec and Solliance could be used in a multi-junction design alongside a CZTS absorber layer (where selenium is replaced by sulfur), potentially yielding a high-efficiency device based entirely on cheap, abundant materials and with low production costs.
