Figures from the European Photovoltaic Industry Association (EPIA) show that global PV installations rose from just 10 GW of peak output capacity in 2007 to more than 100 GW by the end of last year. In another five years, that figure could rise to around 400 GW, and according to Lux Research analysts that would equate to around 2% of the global electricity mix. Data: EPIA. |
