| Launched in October 2013, Soraa's MR16 GU10 LED lamps are designed as replacements for the popular but power-hungry halogen bulbs. The high color rendering index of the "bulbs" (95) results from the "GaN on GaN" chip technology used, and eliminates the normal "blue peak" seen with solid-state lighting to help bring out deep red colors in particular.
