Chinese scientists have found an efficient way to measure thickness of graphene.
Deceptively simple: Contrast spectra of graphene samples with different thicknesses (one, two, three, four, five, seven and nine layers) on SiO2. 285 nm/=Si substrate calculated under normal incidence based on the Fresnel equation. Source: Harbin Institute of Technology / IOP Publishing.
