| Last month, the Automotive Electronics Council qualified II-VI's 940nm VCSEL illuminator modules to its "AEC-Q102" quality standard for automotive in-cabin applications. The infrared emitters offer higher power and a narrower spectral width than LEDs used for the same purpose - enabling a marked improvement in 2D imaging performance, says the firm. Image: II-VI. |
