| Lumentum's "M51-100" multi-junction VCSEL array delivers 70W at 905 nm and is being aimed at automotive lidar and industrial 3D sensing applications. Highlighted on Lumentum's booth at last week's LASER World of Photonics event in Munich, Germany, it is said to be capable of replacing edge-emitting lasers in mechanically scanned systems, or arrayed into configurable illumination sources for solid-state electronic scanning lidars.
