Perovskite-silicon tandem cells: nearing production
Following intensive research over the past few years at Fraunhofer ISE and elsewhere, the first commercial perovskite-silicon tandem cells should start rolling off Oxford PV's production line by the end of this year. It is hoped that the low-cost boost to silicon cell efficiencies will enable far more widespread deployment of higher-yielding solar power farms. Photo: Oxford PV.
